Ingredients & Materials

  • Bowl
  • Mild Dish Determiner
  • Soft cloths or cotton swabs
  • Stiff brush
  • Q-tips
  • Vinegar
  • Baking soda

Instructions

  1. Blot the tomato sauce stain with a soft cloth to remove excess sauce.
  2. Mix together a teaspoon of mild dish detergent and a cup of warm water in a bowl.
  3. Dip a clean cloth into the mixture and wring it out.
  4. Gently rub tomato sauce stain with damp cloth until the stain is gone.
  5. If the stain is still visible, use a stiff brush and gently scrub the area in circular motions.
  6. For tough stains, mix equal parts vinegar and baking soda and make a paste. Apply to the stain and allow to sit for 10-15 minutes before rinsing with a damp cloth.
  7. To remove any residue, dampen a q-tip and gently rub the area.
