What you'll need
- Dish soap
- White vinegar
- Cotton balls
- Soft cloths
- Water
Instructions
- Mix 1 tablespoon of dish soap with 1/4 cup of white vinegar in a bowl filled with one quart of warm water.
- Stir the mixture until the soap is dissolved.
- Soak cotton balls in the solution.
- Place the cotton balls over the tomato sauce stains and let them sit for about 15 minutes.
- Gently rub the stains with the cotton ball until they start to fade.
- Use a soft cloth soaked in clean water to rinse off the soap and vinegar solution.
- Repeat Steps 1-6 until the stains have been removed.
Tips
- Be sure to use a gentle rubbing motion when removing the stains so as not to damage wallpaper.
