The first step is to take a white cloth or paper towel and blot the stain. This will help to remove some of the excess tomato sauce and reduce size of the stain.
Mix a tablespoon of dishwashing liquid with two cups of cold water in a container. Make sure that the dishwashing liquid is not too harsh, as this could damage the fabric of your tuxedo.
Dip a clean cloth or sponge into the cleaning solution, and use it to gently blot stained area. Do not rub or scrub the fabric, as this can spread the stain and make it more difficult to remove.
Once the stain has been treated with the cleaning solution, rinse area with cold water. Do not use hot or warm water as this could cause the stain to set.
Once the stain has been removed, leave the area to air dry. If necessary, dab the area gently with a paper towel or cloth to help it dry faster.
