Nobody likes having tomato sauce stains on their clothes, especially if it’s on their thong. Unfortunately, tomato sauce stains are difficult to remove and will easily set in if not treated right away. Fortunately, there are a few things you can do to get rid of the stain quickly.

Step 1: Soak

The first step is to soak the stained thong in cold water. This is important as it will help to remove any excess sauce and make stain much easier to treat. Make sure the thong is completely submerged for at least 15 minutes, then take it out and gently rub the stained area with a soft cloth or cotton ball.

Step 2: Use Cleaning Solution

Once the thong is soaked, use a cleaning solution such as laundry detergent or a specialized spot cleaner to treat the stain. Apply the cleaner directly onto the stained area and let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing off with cold water. Repeat this process until the stain begins to fade away.

Step 3: Rinse and Air Dry

Finally, once the tomato sauce stain has been treated, rinse the thong in cold water and air-dry it. If the stain is still there, repeat steps above until it is gone. You may also want to pretreat stained area before washing, to ensure that the stain doesn’t set in further.
