When it comes to pool maintenance, the most important task you must undertake is keeping your pool clean. This includes vacuuming, skimming, and cleaning the filter. But you also need to keep liner clean.
It’s inevitable that dirt and debris like leaves, flower petals, and, yes, tomato sauce stains, will find their way into your swimming pool. So, let’s take a look at how to remove those pesky tomato sauce stains from your pool liner.
Take the bucket and fill it with half a cup of baking soda and a cup of white vinegar. Swirl the mixture together with your hand until the baking soda has dissolved in the vinegar.
Now, dip your scrub brush, or an old toothbrush, into solution and start scrubbing the stained areas of your swimming pool liner. If the stains are particularly stubborn, let the solution sit on them for 10-15 minutes before scrubbing.
Once you finish scrubbing stain, pour some clean water over it to rinse away any residue from cleaning solution. If the stain isn’t completely gone, repeat steps two and three as needed.
