Using paper towels or a clean, absorbent cloth, gently blot the stain until it is no longer spreading. Do not rub the stain as this may cause it to spread and set even further.
Apply a small amount of dish soap directly to the stain and allow it to sit for 15 minutes. Then, lightly scrub the area with a soft-bristled brush to help loosen and lift the stain.
Rinse the area with cold water to remove the dish soap. If the stain is still visible, repeat Steps 2 and 3 until stain is completely gone.
To remove any remaining residue, apply a small amount of hydrogen peroxide directly to the stain and let it sit for 15 minutes. Then, rinse with cold water and check the fabric for any remaining residue.
If there is any remaining residue, mix a solution of 1 part white vinegar and 1 part baking soda and apply it to the area. Allow it to sit for 15 minutes before rinsing with cold water.
After all residue has been removed, wash the sports bra in the washing machine with a mild laundry detergent according to the care instructions. Hang dry or machine dry according to the instructions on the label.
