Instructions

  1. Scrape off any excess sauce from the fabric or leather.
  2. Mix a solution of warm water and mild detergent.
  3. Dip a clean cloth in the solution and gently scrub the affected area of the shoe.
  4. Rinse off the cloth, then use it to wipe off the area and remove the detergent residue.
  5. If the stain persists, dip a toothbrush (or a very soft-bristled brush) into the soapy solution and gently scrub area.
  6. Repeat the rinsing process.
  7. If necessary, use a suede brush to raise the nap of the fabric.
  8. Let the shoes air dry.

Additional Tips

  • For leather shoes, you may have to use a leather cleaner or a conditioner.
  • Do not use a hair dryer or other heat sources to dry the shoes since this may cause permanent damage to the material.
  • If the stain is on a white fabric surface, use hydrogen peroxide or a bleach solution, but be sure to test the fabric in an inconspicuous spot first, as it may cause discoloration.
  • For stubborn stains, try using a commercial stain removal product.
