What You’ll Need:

  • White vinegar
  • Water
  • A clean cloth
  • Liquid detergent

Instructions

  1. Mix 1 tablespoon of vinegar with 2 cups of cold water in a bowl or sink. Soak the entire stained area of your garment for 10-15 minutes.
  2. After soaking, blot the stain with a clean cloth to absorb any remaining liquid.
  3. Using cold water, rinse the treated area and blot it dry again with a clean cloth.
  4. If the stain is still present, then apply a few drops of liquid detergent directly onto the stain. Allow it to soak for another 10 minutes.
  5. Rinse and dry the area once again and examine it carefully in a well-lit area.

Additional Tips

  • Always test any cleaning solution on a small, inconspicuous part of your garment prior to applying it to stain.
  • When blotting the stain, use gentle pressure and move the cloth in a circular direction.
  • After spot-treating stain with liquid detergent, wash your garment according to the instructions on the care label.
