What you need
- Cold water
- Mild detergent or liquid laundry detergent
- White vinegar
- Peroxide
- Soft-bristled brush
Instructions
- Dab the stain with a clean cloth soaked in cold water until no more liquid can be removed.
- Apply a few drops of liquid laundry detergent to stained area.
- Blot the stain with a soft-bristled brush, taking care not to rub it since this may cause stain to spread.
- Rinse the fabric in cold water to remove detergent and the stain.
- If stain persists, repeat steps two and three, using vinegar this time.
- If the stain is still visible, apply peroxide and scrub gently. Let it stand for 30 minutes.
- Rinse the fabric thoroughly to remove any residue left behind.
Notes
Be careful when using bleaching agents like peroxide, as they can cause discoloration on some fabrics. Always test it in an inconspicuous area before applying it to the entire garment.
