What You Need

  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • A soft-bristle toothbrush
  • Hydrogen peroxide
  • Dish soap
  • A damp cloth

Step by Step Guide

  1. Start by carefully blotting away as much of sauce as possible using a damp cloth.
  2. Mix equal parts white vinegar and baking soda in a small bowl. When they are blended together, use a soft-bristle toothbrush to spread the mix over stained area of your sarong. Leave this mixture on for 10-15 minutes.
  3. After the mixture has had a chance to set, rinse it away with cold water.
  4. If stain remains, use a few drops of hydrogen peroxide with a dab of dish soap, and rub mixture lightly into the affected area with a cloth. Let this sit for 5-10 minutes and then rinse it away with cold water.
  5. Leave the sarong to dry completely and inspect area to see if all stain has been removed.
