Steps to Cleaning Tomato Sauce Stains from Rayon

  1. Blot any excess tomato sauce with a paper towel or soft cloth.
  2. Fill a bucket or sink with cold water and add a few drops of mild dish soap.
  3. Gently rub stained area with the soapy water using a soft cloth.
  4. After removing all traces of the stain, rinse the area with clean water.
  5. Place the garment in the washing machine with a mild detergent and wash according to the care label.
  6. If the stain is still there, repeat steps 2-5 before putting the garment in the dryer.

  • Avoid using hot water when cleaning tomato sauce stains, as it can set the stain and make it harder to remove.
  • If you’re stained garment didn’t have a care label, use a gentle cycle and the lowest heat setting on your dryer.
