What You'll Need:
- White vinegar
- Baking soda
- Sponge
- Old toothbrush
- Dish soap
Instructions:
- Mix equal parts white vinegar and baking soda together to create a paste.
- With a damp sponge, apply the paste directly onto the stained area.
- Gently scrub the stained area with a soft-bristled old toothbrush, then let sit for 10 minutes.
- Once the paste has had a chance to work, rinse off the area with warm water.
- If the stain persists, add some dish soap to the stained area and gently scrub with an old toothbrush.
- Once the stain is removed, gently wash the area with warm water, then dry.
Tips:
- Do not use bleach to remove the stain, as this will damage your Keds.
- Always test any cleaning solutions on a small and inconspicuous area of the shoe first before applying to the entire area.
