Using a paper towel, gently blot the stain to remove as much of excess sauce as possible. Be sure not to rub or scrub, as this can cause the stain to spread and set in.
Mix together some laundry detergent with warm water until it forms a paste-like solution. Apply the detergent to the stain, rubbing it gently into the fabric with your fingers. Leave the detergent on stain for 5-10 minutes before rinsing it off with cold water.
Follow the care instructions on the clothing label and wash item of clothing as you normally would. If the stain is especially stubborn, it is recommended that you use a stain remover such as OxiClean to help loosen the stain.
Once the clothing is washed, dry it as you normally would. Hang-drying clothing is better for conserving energy, but it can also cause stains to become set in if the item is not positioned correctly. For this reason, it's best to just use a regular dryer when drying Hollister clothing.
With the right supplies and techniques, stubborn tomato sauce stains can easily be removed from Hollister clothing. Just remember to always follow the care instructions on the clothing label and take the appropriate steps to pretreat any stains before laundering.
