What You'll Need

  • Oxygenated bleach or white vinegar
  • Cold water
  • Old toothbrush or soft-bristled brush

Instructions

  1. Create a bleach and water solution using 1 teaspoon of oxygen bleach for every 4 ounces of cold water. If you don't have access to oxygen bleach, use white vinegar instead.
  2. Soak the affected area of your flip flop in cleaning solution for 10 minutes.
  3. Remove the flip flop from the cleaning solution and use an old toothbrush or soft-bristled brush to lightly scrub each side of fabric.
  4. Rinse the flip flop with cold water.
  5. Allow flip flop to air dry completely before wearing.
