Things You'll Need:

  • Cotton swabs
  • Dish soap
  • Gentle scrubber
  • Toothbrush
  • Vinegar

Step 1: Soak and Rinse

The first step to cleaning tomato sauce off your earplugs is to soak them in dish soap and rinse them off with water. This will help remove any excess sauce that may still be lingering on the surface.

Step 2: Scrub with a Gentle Bristle Brush

Next, use a gentle bristle brush or toothbrush to gently scrub away at remaining tomato sauce. This will help remove any stubborn stains that won't come off with just the dish soap and water.

Step 3: Rinse Again

Once the tomato sauce has been scrubbed off, rinse earplugs again with water to ensure that all of the soap residue has been removed. This will also help prevent any further staining.

Step 4: Use Vinegar

If tomato sauce stains still remain, use a cotton swab soaked in white vinegar to gently rub away at the stain until it is completely gone. Rinse the earplugs one final time with water to remove any vinegar residue.

Step 5: Dry and Re-attach

Finally, allow the earplugs to air dry before reattaching them to your device. This will ensure that all of the tomato sauce has been removed and that the earplugs are functioning properly.
