The first step of stain removal is to blot the stain with a clean paper towel. This will help reduce the amount of sauce in the fabric and prevent it from spreading further.
Choose a gentle detergent or a laundry pre-treatment product and mix it with warm water. Apply solution directly to the affected area of the garment and let it soak for 10 to 15 minutes.
After the garment has soaked for 10-15 minutes, wash it in cool or lukewarm water with a mild detergent made specifically for delicate fabrics. Be sure to use a gentle cycle and don't forget to read manufacturer's care instructions before washing.
Once the garment is washed, hang it up to air dry. Don't put the garment in the dryer, as this could cause the stain to set. Once the garment is fully dry, check to see if the stain is gone or has faded.
