Blot the stain with a damp cloth to remove as much of the sauce as possible. Avoid rubbing the stain too hard, as this could spread the stain further into the fabric.

Mix one part liquid dish soap with three parts warm water in a bowl. Dip a sponge or brush into mixture, then dab gently at the stain.

Rinse area to ensure all of the soap has been removed. Fill a bowl with cold water and submerge the stained area for about 5 minutes to rinse away any residue soap.

Spray the area with an enzyme-based laundry detergent spray and let sit for 15-20 minutes. Blot area with a damp cloth.

If there are still signs of the stain remaining, blot the area with white vinegar and rinse well with cold water. Gently dab the area with a cloth until stain fades. Be sure to check the fabric instructions to ensure vinegar won't damage the fabric.

Once the stain is removed, launder the item according to fabric instructions. For best results, add a laundry stain remover such as OxiClean, Biz, or Shake it to laundry load. For stubborn stains, repeat steps above before laundering.
