Using a paper towel or cloth, try to remove as much of the stain as possible by blotting it gently. Do not rub or scrub stain, as this could spread it further.
Mix baking soda and vinegar together to make a paste. Apply paste directly to tomato sauce stain and allow it to sit for about 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes have passed, rinse the paste off the shoe with water. If the stain is still visible, you may need to repeat the process.
If the stain is still not removed, you may need to soak the shoe. Fill a sink or bowl with lukewarm water and some laundry detergent and let your clog soak overnight.
In the morning, take the shoe out of the water and gently scrub the fabric with a soft brush. Try not to scrub too hard, as this could damage fabric.
Place the clog on a clean towel and allow it to air dry in a cool, dry place. Do not put it in the washing machine or dryer, as this could damage the material.
Cleaning tomato sauce stains from your favorite pair of clogs doesn’t have to be a nightmare. With these simple steps, you can get rid of those pesky stains in no time!
