  • One tablespoon liquid dishwashing soap, such as Dawn
  • One teaspoon white vinegar
  • One cup warm water
  • Cloth
  • Cotton swabs

Steps to Clean Tomato Sauce Stains From Carrickmacross Lace

Once you have your materials, here are the steps you should take to remove the tomato sauce stain:
  1. Start by blotting the affected area with a cloth. Don't rub! This will only make the stain spread. Gently dab the stained area with cloth until it absorbs as much of the sauce as possible.
  2. Mix the dishwashing liquid, white vinegar, and warm water in a bowl. Stir until combined.
  3. Dip the cloth into soapy mixture and gently dab stain. Make sure that you do not rub the fabric together, as this will cause the stain to spread.
