Step 1: Preparing the Garment

Before you clean stain, make sure the bra is machine-washable. You can check care label for instructions. If the bra is hand-wash only, proceed with extra caution and test the cleaning method on a small, hidden area first.

Step 2: Mixing Remover Solution

Mix up a solution of 2 tablespoons of laundry detergent, 1/2 teaspoon of white vinegar, and 2 cups of warm water. This will help break down the tomato sauce and lift stain from the fabric.

Step 3: Blot the Stain

Dip an absorbent cloth or paper towel in the cleaning solution. Blot the stain with the cloth, working from the outer edges of the stain toward the center. Avoid rubbing or scrubbing the fabric, as this can spread the stain and damage the fabric.

Step 4: Rinse with Cold Water

Once the stain has been blotted, rinse with cold water. Continue to blot and rinse until the stain is completely gone. Remember, patience and gentle pressure are key!

Step 5: Allow to Air Dry

Once all traces of the stain have been removed, lay the garment flat on a towel to air dry. Do not put it in dryer, as the intense heat can set the stain.

And That's It!

Don’t let tomato sauce stains ruin your favorite bras. Follow the steps outlined above and you’ll be able to wear them again in no time.
