If you can see where the sauce has dried or crusted onto your apron, use the edge of a spoon to scrape away as much of excess as possible. This will help make the cleaning process much easier and more effective.
Mix a solution of warm water and a few teaspoons of high-quality laundry detergent. Add the stained area of your apron to the solution and let it soak for at least 15 minutes. This will help break up the stain so that it can be washed away.
After the stain has been treated and soaked, it's time to wash your apron. If the stain is light enough, simply place the apron in the washing machine on a gentle cycle with cold water. Otherwise, if the stain is particularly stubborn, use a brush to scrub fabric with more of the detergent solution and then launder as usual.
Once apron has been through a complete wash cycle, take it out of the machine and inspect it to make sure the stain has been completely removed. If it is still visible, repeat steps two and three until the stain is gone.
