Steps to Remove the Stain

  1. Blot the excess tomato sauce using an absorbent cloth or paper towel.
  2. Spray the back of the stain with prewash stain remover and work it in using a soft brush.
  3. Soak the clothing in cold water for 30 minutes.
  4. Wash the clothing in the warmest water temperature recommended on care tag with a regular laundry detergent, like Tide. If possible, add a color-safe bleach.
  5. Air dry. Do not put item in the dryer until the stain has been completely removed.

Additional Tips

  • Do not use hot water when treating the stain as this can cause it to spread, making it harder to get out.
  • If the stain is particularly stubborn, try adding some liquid dish soap to the stain before soaking.
  • Before attempting to remove the stain, test the prewash stain remover and laundry detergent on an inconspicuous part of the item to ensure that it does not affect the fabric.
