How to Easily Remove Tomato Sauce Stains from Alpaca

Instructions

  1. Using a spoon, scrape off any excess residue from tomato sauce.
  2. Mix a solution of equal parts cold water and liquid detergent, such as Dawn dish soap.
  3. Dip a cloth or soft-bristle brush into the cleaning solution and gently scrub stain.
  4. When the stain is no longer visible, rinse the area with cold water to remove any remaining soap.
  5. Let the area air-dry.

Tips

  • Always test any cleaning solution on a hidden or inconspicuous area of your alpaca fabric prior to using it on stained area.
  • Choose a commercial stain remover that is specifically designed for use on alpaca fabric.
  • Do not use hot water, as this can cause the stain to set permanently.

Warning

Never use bleach or a bleach-based cleaner on alpaca fabric, as this will cause discoloration.
