Instructions
- Using a spoon, scrape off any excess residue from tomato sauce.
- Mix a solution of equal parts cold water and liquid detergent, such as Dawn dish soap.
- Dip a cloth or soft-bristle brush into the cleaning solution and gently scrub stain.
- When the stain is no longer visible, rinse the area with cold water to remove any remaining soap.
- Let the area air-dry.
Tips
- Always test any cleaning solution on a hidden or inconspicuous area of your alpaca fabric prior to using it on stained area.
- Choose a commercial stain remover that is specifically designed for use on alpaca fabric.
- Do not use hot water, as this can cause the stain to set permanently.
Warning
Never use bleach or a bleach-based cleaner on alpaca fabric, as this will cause discoloration.
