Step 1: Blot the Stain

Grab a clean cloth and gently blot the stained area until any excess tomato sauce has been blotted up. Do not rub stain because it can further spread the stain.

Step 2: Apply Detergent

Apply a small amount of detergent directly to stain and allow it to sit for a few minutes. Then rinse the cloth with cold water and gently rub the detergent into the stained area with cloth.

Step 3: Put Clothing in Wash

When the stain has been treated, you can put the clothing in the washing machine. Use gentle cycle and cold water for the best results. If possible, avoid using hot water as this can set the stain.

Step 4: Air Dry

After the wash cycle is complete, hang the clothing up to air dry. Do not put the clothing in a dryer as this can set the stain. If stain is still visible after air drying, repeat the steps above.
