What You’ll Need
- White vinegar
- Cotton rag
- Rubbing alcohol
- Washing powder/liquid
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Blot the excess tar with a dry cotton rag.
- Mix one part white vinegar with two parts rubbing alcohol in a bowl.
- Dip cotton rag into mixture and use it to blot the stain.
- Allow the vinegar/alcohol mixture to sit on the stain for 2-3 minutes.
- Rinse the area with cold water.
- Wash the fabric with washing powder or liquid as per the instructions on the label.
- Dry the fabric as per instructions on the label.
