- Dish soap
- Nail polish remover
- Laundry detergent
- Stain remover
Instructions
- Blot the tar stain using a clean cloth as soon as you notice it on your Ralph Lauren.
- Mix one teaspoon of dish soap with two cups cold water.
- Apply the mixture to the stained area using a clean cloth.
- Blot the stained area with a clean cloth. Continue blotting until the stain is completely removed.
- If the stain isn’t totally gone, try dabbing some nail polish remover onto it.
- Rinse the nail polish remover off with cold water and repeat steps 3-5 if necessary.
- Once the tar stain is completely removed, wash the item according to the care instructions on label.
- If needed, add a bit of laundry detergent and stain remover to your wash.
