Using a blunt object like a spoon, scrape off as much of the excess tar as you can. Don't use anything sharp, as you don't want to damage the shoe.
Using a paper towel or a cotton swab, wet the stain with rubbing alcohol. This will help break down tar and lift the stain from the shoe.
Using a soft-bristle brush and mild soap, scrub affected area until the tar stain has been removed. Make sure to rinse the shoe off with clean water to remove any traces of soap residue.
Pat the shoe dry using a clean cloth and allow it to air dry completely before wearing.
With just a few simple steps, you can remove tar stains from your Puma shoes. Remember to always use a mild soap and a gentle brush to clean affected area and rinse the shoe off with clean water afterwards.
