Removing Tar Stains From Leather Loafers
Removing tar stains from leather loafers is a bit trickier than other types of stains, as the tar has a tendency to sink into the leather making it difficult to remove. Follow these steps to effectively remove tar stains from leather loafers:
- Gently scrape off as much of the tar as possible with a spoon or knife.
- Mix a solution of warm water and mild detergent and soak a clean cloth in it.
- Wring out the cloth and carefully rub the affected area with cloth.
- Gently scrub the area until the stain is removed.
- Rinse the cloth and then use it to wipe away any remaining soap residue.
- Allow the loafers to air dry.

- Rinse the cloth with clear water and wipe away any remaining soap residue.
