Before you start tackling the task of removing any type of stain, make sure to gather all the supplies you need for the job. For removing tar from your Gucci clothing, it’s best to use the following items:
Once you have your supplies ready, you can begin the process of removing the tar stain from your Gucci clothing. The first thing to do is to grab the soft brush and gently brush away the excess tar without pushing it further into the fabric. Try not to apply too much pressure during this step, as you don’t want to damage material.
Be sure to brush in one direction only — otherwise, you might spread the stain further.
Once you’ve brushed away any excess tar, your next step is to treat the remaining stain itself. Create a solution of warm water and dishwashing soap, and then dip the non-abrasive cloth into the solution. Blot stain with cloth, being sure to avoid rubbing it, as rubbing can cause the stain to spread. When all of the tar has been transferred to the cloth, rinse material with cold water and let it air dry.
If you still see a bit of the stain after the initial treatment, don’t worry. You can repeat the process until the tar is completely gone.
Once your Gucci garment is fully dried and you’re satisfied that tar stain has been removed, it’s always a good idea to do a final spot check. Take a look at area where the tar was originally located and make sure that there’s no evidence of a stain remaining. If there’s none, then you’ve successfully removed the tar from your clothing!
