Removing Tar from Cotton Chambray

  1. Start by softening the tar with coconut oil. Place a small amount of oil onto stain and let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Soak stain in warm, soapy water for approximately one hour.
  3. Using a soft cloth, gently rub the stain until all traces of tar are gone.
  4. Rinse the area with cold water and use a lint-free cloth to blot dry.
