WD-40 Method
WD-40 is another excellent option for removing tar stains from cotton canvas. If you don't have any white vinegar on hand, you can use WD-40 instead. Simply spray a generous amount onto the tar stain and leave it for 30 minutes. Then, carefully wipe it away with a soft cloth or brush. Finally, rinse the area with cool water and let it air-dry.
Soft Scrub Cleaner
Soft scrub cleaners are also effective at removing tar stains from cotton canvas. Start by mixing a small amount of the cleaner with warm water.
