Tar stuck to bikini fabric can be really difficult to remove. You need to act fast and use right techniques to ensure your swimsuit is as good as new. Here's what you should do:

Step 1: Wet the Fabric

First, hold the entire bikini up to a running tap or pour some cold water over it until it becomes completely wet. This helps reduce the amount of damage the microfibers in the fabric suffer during cleaning.

Step 2: Scrub the Stain

Using a soft cloth or a brush, scrub stain gently in circular motions. Start from the outside and work your way in, ensuring that all parts of the stain have been attacked. Be careful not to use too much force, as this can cause the fabric to tear.

Step 3: Use a Detergent Solution

Mix a few drops of detergent with half a cup of warm water. Apply it directly onto the stain with a sponge and rub it in gently. Leave the solution to stand for 10-15 minutes to give it time to work its magic.

Step 4: Rinse and Dry

After the solution has worked its way into the fabric, rinse it off under a running tap until all suds are gone. Pat fabric dry with a towel and lay it out to air dry overnight.
