tar

It's always frustrating when an otherwise beautiful piece of clothing gets ruined by a stubborn tar stain. But fear not, you can get your Armani back to looking its best with these easy steps:

Step 1: Scrape Away Excess Tar

Using a plastic knife or edge of a credit card, gently scrape away at the excess tar on the garment. Don’t press too hard, as this may further damage the material.

Step 2: Apply Stain Remover

Once you have removed excess tar, apply a fabric specific stain remover to the affected area. Use a small cloth or paintbrush to spread it evenly. Be sure to cover entire stain, and let it sit for around 10 minutes.

Step 3: Wipe Away the Remaining Stain

After the stain remover has had a chance to soak into the material, take a damp cloth and wipe away the remaining stain. You may need to use some extra elbow grease, but the tar should come away easily.

Step 4: Handwash and Air Dry

Once you have wiped away the stain, you need to handwash garment with a mild detergent. Rinse it thoroughly, then hang it up to air dry. Do not put the garment in the dryer, as this could cause stain to set in permanently.
