What You Will Need

  • Baking soda
  • Vinegar
  • Sponge, towel, or scrub brush
  • Liquid dish soap
  • Clean cloth

Step 1: Create a Baking Soda & Vinegar Paste

In a small bowl, mix together 3 tablespoons of baking soda and 1 tablespoon of vinegar until it forms a paste. This paste will act like a gentle abrasive so it is important to use this mixture instead of an ordinary cleaning powder such as comet.

Step 2: Apply the Paste

Take the paste and apply it directly onto stained area. Allow it to sit for at least 10 minutes while it works its magic.

Step 3: Rinse & Scrub

After 10 minutes, rinse the area with warm water. Then, take a sponge, towel, or scrub brush and gently scrub area in circular motions until stain begins to lift. If the stain still remains, add a few drops of liquid dish soap to mixture and repeat steps 2 and 3.

Step 4: Dry & Polish

Once the stain is gone, take a clean cloth and dry the area. Then, use a soft cloth to polish it back to its original shine.
