Summertime means lounging on the beach with a delicious suntan lotion. However, when you get back to your Zara clothes, you may notice that the tanning lotion has left its mark - literally! Getting rid of these stains can be tricky, but don't worry - we'll show you how below.

Before you begin any cleaning process, pre-treat the stain with a detergent and cold water solution. For best results, dab stain gently with a soft cloth and make sure the detergent is fully dissolved in the water.
Once the pre-treatment is complete, soak the material in cold water for at least five minutes. This will help loosen stain and make it easier to remove.
Now it's time to apply a stain remover to the material. Make sure to use a product designed specifically for removing oil and grease stains. If you don't have a stain remover handy, dish soap, laundry detergent, or even shampoo can work in a pinch.
After applying the stain remover, rinse the fabric with cold water and check to see if the stain is still visible. If it is, simply repeat the steps listed above until the stain is completely gone.
Once stain is gone, you can proceed with washing the fabric as usual. Make sure to use the gentle cycle and a mild detergent. Air drying is best, but you can also use a low temperature setting on your dryer.
That's all there is to it! Your Zara item should now be free of suntan lotion stains, and ready for another day at the beach.
