Start by using a gentle, abrasive cloth, brush, or scrubbing pad to remove as much of the excess sunscreen as possible. Be sure to avoid any detergents as these may damage the wedge fabric.
The next step is to fill a bowl or sink with hot water and a tablespoon or two of dish soap. Submerge the affected wedges for 20 minutes to loosen the stain. Make sure to check after 20 minutes, as the wedges should not be left in the water for too long.
After taking wedges out of the water, make a mixture of equal parts white vinegar, lemon juice, and baking soda. Using a clean white cloth, apply the mixture over the stain, being sure to rub it gently. Allow the mixture to sit on the stain for 30 minutes before rinsing with cold water.
If the stain is still present, repeat steps 2 and 3 until the stain is gone. Once finished, allow wedges to air dry before wearing.
