Don't worry—you don't have to throw away your favorite wallet! With a few simple steps, you can easily get rid of suntan lotion stains.

Things You'll Need:

  • Dish soap
  • Soft cloths
  • Vinegar
  • Water
  • Dry cloth

Step 1: Pre-treat With Dish Soap

Begin by wetting affected area with warm water and then lather up some dish soap. Rub the sudsy mixture into the stain for about one minute.

Step 2: Apply Vinegar Solution

Next, mix a solution comprised of equal parts vinegar and water. Dip a soft cloth into the solution and gently dab at the stained area. Do not rub. Continue dabbing until stain appears to be lightening.

Step 3: Rinse and Dry

Once the stain has lightened, rinse and blot dry with a clean cloth. If the stain is still visible, repeat Steps 1-3 as necessary.
