- Warm Water
- Mild Detergent with No Bleach
- White Vinegar
- Soft Cleaning Cloth
Instructions
- Test the stain first by rubbing a dry cloth over stained area. If the velvet is not too delicate, you can use a soft bristle brush to help remove any dried-on residue.
- Mix one tablespoon of mild detergent with one cup of warm water and gently dab the solution onto stain.
- Use a soft cleaning cloth to dab at the stain to help lift it off fabric.
- Once stain is gone, rinse the area with cold water, but do not soak or wring the velvet.
- If the stain remains, apply a mixture of one part white vinegar to four parts of warm water. Again, use a soft cloth to dab at the stain, then rinse with cold water.
