Summertime means sunshine, beaches, and (fingers crossed) no rain. And with all that sun, comes suntan lotion. Unfortunately, suntan lotion can sometimes leave behind tough stains on suede. To get started, make sure you have the following supplies:
Dampen your white cloth with some white vinegar, then gently blot stained area. Don’t rub or scrub stain, since this can cause it to spread or get ground into suede.
Take the unsalted butter and rub a small amount into the stained area. Gently work the butter into the suede until stain begins to lift.
After the butter has set, take your brush and gently brush the stained area in a circular motion. This will help to further lift the stain from the suede.
If stain persists after the first attempt, repeat steps one through three until stain is completely gone.
Once you are satisfied with the results, let the item dry completely before storing.
