To start, put the sleep pants in a sink filled with lukewarm water and let them sit for about 15 minutes. Next, take a good amount of laundry detergent and lather it into sleep pants. Work the detergent into the fabric with your hands, especially in areas where you can still see the stain. Once the pants have been fully lathered, let them sit in the water for an additional 15 minutes.
After that, rinse sleep pants thoroughly to remove any remaining detergent. Then, submerge the fabric in an oxygen-based bleach solution (follow the instructions on the package) for up to 30 minutes. Depending on the severity of stain, this step may need to be repeated. When finished, rinse the sleep pants again, making sure no bleach remains.
If the stain is still present after the above steps, you may want to try treating the area with rubbing alcohol. To do this, pour the rubbing alcohol directly onto stain and allow it to sit for a few minutes. Gently rub the fabric together and then rinse out the alcohol with cold water. If the stain persists, you may have to repeat this step.
Finally, launder the pants according to the care label instructions and dry normally. Regular laundering and drying should help remove any remaining stains.
