Step by Step Instructions for Cleaning Suntan Lotion Stains from Seersucker

  1. Apply a small amount of liquid detergent directly onto stain (if possible, use a mild one that is specifically designed for delicates).
  2. Using a cotton ball, dab the stained area gently.
  3. Leave the detergent on the fabric for 5 minutes.
  4. Rinse out detergent with lukewarm water.
  5. If the stain is still visible, mix white vinegar and lukewarm water in equal parts.
  6. Soak the stained area in the mixture for 30 minutes.
