First, make sure that you check the fabric care label on your robe. Depending on the type of fabric, there might be certain cleaning products that should not be used. You want to be careful to avoid damaging the fabric.

If you have a suntan lotion stain on your robe, you'll need to work quickly, as the longer the stain sits, the harder it may be to remove. Start by gently blotting the stain with a clean, dry cloth to remove as much of the lotion as possible.

Next, create a cleaning solution using cool water and a mild laundry detergent or liquid dish soap. Use a soft-bristled brush to apply cleaning solution directly to stain. After a few minutes, gently blot the area again with clean, dry cloth to remove the cleaning solution.

If the stain is still present, you can also try pre-soaking the affected area before laundering. Place your robe in a sink or tub filled with cold water and a mild laundry detergent. Allow it to soak for at least 30 minutes, then rinse it with cold water. Finally, launder the robe according to the instructions on the fabric care label.

If stain persists after laundering, you can also try treating it with a commercial stain remover. Be sure to follow the instructions carefully and always spot test for colorfastness first.

By following these steps, you can easily remove suntan lotion stains from your robe.
