Summer means lots of things - beach trips, BBQs, and plenty of suntan lotion. But all that lotion inevitably leads to one unwanted consequence - suntan lotion stains on your favourite purse.

No matter how careful we are when applying our suntan lotion, messes happen. Nothing ruins the look of a beautiful purse quite like a lotion stain, but don’t fret: there’s an easy way to remove them.
It's important to start by removing any larger chunks of lotion, as well as any excess liquid. This can be done with a cotton swab, paper towel, or cloth rag.
Although you probably have some store-bought stain removers at home, a simple mix of detergent or soap and salt works just as well. Use a cloth or cotton swab to lightly dab the mixture onto the stain. Leave it on for a few minutes to give the mixture a chance to work its magic.
Once you’ve let the mixture sit for a few minutes, you can rinse the area with lukewarm water. Gently rub the area while rinsing, then let the bag air dry. Afterward, your purse should look good as new!
