Suntan lotion can leave behind pesky stains on pots and pans, but it doesn't have to be a permanent problem. With right cleaning supplies and a few simple steps, you can remove these stains in no time!

Step 1: Gather Supplies

To get rid of suntan lotion stains, you'll need some cleaning supplies. What you use will depend on what type of pot or pan you're cleaning, but here are the basics:

  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Dish soap
  • Soft scrub brush
  • Clean cloths

Step 2: Apply a Paste

Now that you have your supplies, mix together a paste of equal parts white vinegar and baking soda. Spread this paste over the stained area and let it sit for at least 10 minutes.

Step 3: Scrub the Stains

After the paste has had a chance to work its magic, use a soft scrub brush to gently scrub the stained area. Be sure to use circular motions as you scrub to help loosen the stain.

Step 4: Rinse & Repeat

Once you've scrubbed the stained area, rinse it off with some warm water. If there are still traces of stain remaining, repeat the process until it is gone.

Step 5: Wipe Down with Soapy Water

Finally, wipe down pot or pan with some soapy water to remove any traces of baking soda and vinegar. Once you've done that, you should be left with a clean, shiny pot or pan!
