If you catch a suntan lotion stain quickly, it should be relatively easy to remove. Begin by using a clean cloth or paper towel to absorb as much of the excess lotion as possible. Next, dampen a cloth with warm water and gentle soap, then rub stain until it has been removed.
For more stubborn stains, you may need to try something a bit harsher. If a regular soap and water mixture isn't cutting it, pour a few drops of white vinegar over the stain and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Then, dab at the stain with a cloth or paper towel to lift away the remaining residue. You may also want to try a liquid detergent or laundry pre-treatment product to see if that is more effective.
