The Easy Guide To Removing Suntan Lotion Stains From Nautica Clothes
It's inevitable when you hit beach - a few spritzes of suntan lotion can inadvertently splash onto your favorite Nautica clothing. Don't worry though - this guide will help you undo the damage and get your clothing looking like new again!

Materials Needed
- Shaving cream
- White cloth or rag
- Laundry detergent
- Stain remover
Instructions
- Before attempting to remove the stain, take the clothing off and try to remove as much of suntan lotion as you can.
- Apply a generous amount of shaving cream to the area where stain is and let it set for a few minutes.
- Gently rub area with a damp white cloth or rag.
- Rinse the area with cool water until the shaving cream is completely removed.
- Create a solution of 1 part laundry detergent and 8 parts cool water.
- Soak the clothing in solution for 30 minutes.
- Rinse the clothing with cool water and examine the area for any leftover stains.
- If the stain persists, apply a stain remover specifically made to treat suntan lotion stains.
- Rinse the clothing with cool water.
- Let clothing air dry.
