- Start by mixing equal parts laundry detergent and borax in a bowl.
- Create a paste with the mixture, adding a small amount of water until you achieve the desired consistency.
- Using a sponge or soft cloth, apply a generous amount of the paste to stained area of mule.
- Let the paste sit on stain for 10 minutes.
- Rinse off the paste with cool water.
- If the stain is still visible, mix together one cup of white vinegar and two cups of cool water in a spray bottle.
- Thoroughly spray the area and let the solution work its magic for a few minutes.
