Begin by pre-treating the stain with a liquid detergent. Carefully rub the detergent onto the stained area using a cloth or brush in small circular motions. Make sure the detergent has covered the entire stain before rinsing it off with cold water.
Once you have pre-treated the jersey with a liquid detergent, place it in a bucket or sink filled with hot water and let it soak for approximately 30 minutes. This will help to loosen up the stubborn stain and make it easier to remove.
Once the jersey has finished soaking, rinse it off with cold water and then wash it in the washing machine with a bleach alternative. Bleach alternatives are safer than bleach and will not damage fabric of your jersey. If the stain is still visible after washing, repeat process until stain has been completely removed.
Finally, hang the jersey up to air dry in a well-ventilated area. Do not put the jersey in the dryer as this could cause the stain to set, making it difficult to remove.
