Mix equal parts laundry detergent and white vinegar with a few drops of warm water. Dip an old toothbrush into solution and use it to gently scrub away the stain in a circular motion. Work slowly and carefully until all traces of the lotion have been lifted.
Rinse away the pre-treating solution using cold water. Take care not to soak the fabric as this may cause damage.
Apply a mild laundry detergent directly onto the stain and gently rub it in, focusing on the area around the stain. Leave the detergent for 15-20 minutes before rinsing it away with cold water.
Lay the guipure lace flat on a clean towel and press gently with another towel to absorb excess moisture. Make sure not to rub or wring the fabric. Hang in a well-ventilated area or lay flat to dry.
By following these tips, you can keep guipure lace looking its best. With regular maintenance, fabric will look beautiful for years to come.
