What You'll Need

  • A laundry detergent
  • White vinegar
  • Water

Step 1: Blot

First, use a dry cloth to blot up as much of the excess tanning lotion as possible. Careful not to rub fabric, this could cause oily stain to spread.

Step 2: Treat it with Detergent

Create a solution using your laundry detergent, white vinegar and water. Make sure to use only a small amount of each ingredient and mix thoroughly. Next, apply the mixture directly onto the stained area and let it sit for 20 to 30 minutes.

Step 3: Rinse with Water

Rinse the stained area with cold water and make sure that all of the soap and vinegar solutions is removed. Repeat this process if necessary.

Step 4: Dry It

Allow fabric to air dry for best results. Never use a machine dryer for Gazar fabrics as this will damage delicate material.
